Happy Mother's Day

  1. Juicy Burgers
1 pound ground turkey (or bison or beef)
    1 pound bacon
    1 Tbsp paprika
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1.5 tsp cumin
    1 tsp ground pepper
Basically cut the raw bacon into little pieces and mix all ingredients and make burgers. The bacon makes them so good!
Travis is grilling again today so we will have food this week. I'll probably go to the store tomorrow to get more vegetables.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

  3. Will be making the egg "muffins" again for our breakfasts this week. We're also cooking some pork chops and chicken thighs to have for lunches and dinner meals. If I at least have our meats done, doesn't take too long to throw vegetables together in the evening.
Went to Applebees for lunch after church. Ordered the 7oz sirloin with steamed broccoli & carrots. Immediately cut steak in half and separated the vegetables. Ate half and I'll have the other half of steak & veggies for lunch tomorrow.
100 Hollow Rocks and Plank to come!

  4. I went to a weightlifting meet yesterday and saw an ex-Olympian, Chad Vaughn, lift. At just under 170 lbs, he snatched 301 and clean & jerked 374. Amy and I are anxious to get our weightlifting workshops underway next Saturday. These workshops and the lifting classes that will start in June are designed to help you become better in the two Olympic lifts, which will make your CrossFit workouts safer and more fun. If you haven't signed up yet, what's the holdup? You know if CFNM does it, it's going to be AWESOME!

  10. Went to eat at Joe's Pasta and Pizza after church. I had a chef salad with turkey, salami and ham. The bread sure smelled good but I was good and did not have any. I prepped my food yesterday. Hollow Rocks, plank and burpees done. I walked 45 minutes after supper.
