  3. This seems to be a common theme with Team Strong, I only get about 4 hours a night so I will really work on getting more sleep this week.

  4. Sleep is one of the pillars of health. Extremely important. That said, Sandy and I were up all night with Logan. Exhausted! Lol. One guy you MUST listen to is Kirk Parsley. He's and MD who has focused his career on sleep and performance. Team Determined!

I think water consumption will turn out to be a lot easier than sufficient sleep. But I have noticed that alternating 5:00 am wods with late afternoon/early evening wods really helps me to get in a few extra hours of sleep each week.

    Team Strong is S T R O N G ! ! ! ! !

  8. Just woke up from my Sunday nap! Definitely glad this week's focus is sleep because I definitely need more zzzz's. That lady in the picture looks so peaceful- definitely not snoring. Haha!

  9. Sleep?? Haha, that's something I've been deprived of for the past several months having newborn twins. Nah, for real though I'm actually getting 6-7 hours a night and 8-10 on the weekends. (Thank God for cereal) but I did see how lack of sleep played a big part in my recovery after wods. During benchmark week back in October I was only sleeping 2-3 hours a night. It would take me days to recover because my body was not getting the proper rest it needed. Sleep is a must just like hydrating and mobility.

  10. I would sleep for hours but still feel tired when I woke up. But I definitely sleep better since I started to sleep with the room pitch black and in the nude (too much information). But I read an article that stated that you sleep better naked and in total darkness.

So EVERY BODY get naked this week for a better night's sleep? or nah? LOLOL!

  13. I don't function well without sleep. I require 7-9 hrs of sleep to feel good and productive. But those 4:15 am rise and shine mornings make that difficult sometimes. Go team strong!
