"The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet." - Aristotle

All the quotes I put up are applicable to the challenge. This one thought is a pretty cool quote if you think about the challenge as an education for ourselves and our bodies on what we might need to live a healthier and happier life with eliminating refined sugar, drinking more water, getting better sleep, etc. And though bitter at times, having to prep food, do more dishes, refill the water bottle AGAIN, try and get the lights out and in bed, etc. the sweet fruit of course is and will be the healthier and happier living.

  8. OMG! This WOD - 25:06 with 75#
First WOD I think that I have started and completed using the best form possible, every rep... Getting the shoulders up to create the shelf in the front rack position is one of the hardest things for me, so 105 reps in that position was... well I'll say it was AWESOME! (I think high rep C&Js are just as bad as burpees)

    1. Asa- glad you had an AWESOME WOD. :) Just wanted to thank you for encouraging me and pushing me this morning. I was tempted to go down ten lbs, but pushed through, and although I didn't do a lot of weight compared to most people, I was quite proud of myself for pushing through. Thanks!

  10. Good Morning.....burrrrrrrrr.........keep moving to stay warm!

This weeks theme is a stuff one for me. I think it is the most important theme of the challenge myself. I have struggled with getting enough sleep for years! I never can seem to shut my mind down to go to sleep and then once I do staying asleep is another challenge!! Looking over the health benefits of sleep listed above trying to pick one is tough because I need all of them. But if I have to pick one I would say "Decrease Stress"! If I could reduce "Stress" I think all of the other benefits will come!!

Make is a great start to our 4th week of the Challenge!!

    Go Team Strong!!

  14. This weeks theme is tough, I struggle to get enough sleep all the time. There just isn't enough time in a day it seems. I would benefit from all those! lol I just might close up shop no matter what and go to bed on time. Im sure increased performance and better grades would be the biggest one though.
