  5. Procrastination is my middle name! I am very bad about it and try to get better as the days go by. I will admit I would be a lot more stress-free if I didn't procrastinate so much.

  6. I used to procrastinate all the time but I have gotten better the older I get, so I guess that is one positive about being old!

  7. Great Article, Procrastinating can become frustrating and stressful at times, especially when your running on short timing. I think I procrastinate on paying my bills even though I can pay them before the due date I end up paying around that day. I have gotten a little better at it now.

    Team Dedication :)

  8. I sometimes procrastinate, it depends on what it is I need to do. Since I talked to people on the phone all day, I really don't like talking on the phone when I get out of work. Therefore, any phone calls pertaining to paying bills, or taking care of other business matters is a beat down for me-Christina.

  9. Great Article! “Procrastination is the absence of progress". When I think of this quote I am basically telling myself don't put off what you can do today for tomorrow. Like Larry the cable guy says "Git-R-Done!"

  10. I am definitely a procrastinator! However, I have become better at not procrastining over the years. My biggest problem is that I avoid doing things I don't like to do, like writing reports for work, by doing other things I enjoy more, like socializing and consulting at work. At home, I'd rather watch TV than fold and put away laundry. The result is I end up getting overwhelmed and stressed. The sad thing is that I've taken several undergraduate and graduate courses that address these kinds of behaviors. Guess that's why I've gotten better about self-monitoring and procrastinate less now. The one thing I do not like to procrastinate on is my morning workout, although during cold days like we've had this week, workout procrastination is in full effect!

  11. I am so NOT a procrastinator! If too much needs to be done at once, I feel overwhelmed. Therefore, I am a very organized, meticulous, checklist type of person... Unless it is something I don't want to do like housework/laundry. LOL

  14. I used to be a bad procrastinator. I'm getting better! I try to be proactive on most tasks now. It keeps me motivated and organized. On top of that, I believe I have more creativity when I get on a task sooner rather than later. Team Determined!

  16. I am the biggest procrastinator ever! Especially, when it comes to school work. I'm slowly trying to work on this but its hard .I know all I am doing is increasing my stress levels by procrastinating. So, with that being said I guess I should really start on my 30 pg research proposal that is due next month, which I have known about since January and the rest of the assignments that I have due this month! It should be a very busy month for me :) #teamdedication

  20. I've only read 1/4 of the article and it already speaks to me. Very interesting to read a break down of this. My dad is always telling me to "Just Do It" and when he asks me why I can't, I say "I don't know, I need to feel good doing it". I've always thought that was an odd response but now I see why I say it. Maybe now I can explain it better. I've never read something that like this that has put this into words that I could understand. Awesome article.

  21. I am a procrastinator, which then I get stress. I'm always trying to do everything the last minute for example today sing up for the open. I was doing it via phone then had to use the computer. I really have to stop procrastinating.

  28. I'm not an average procrastinator I'm usually the type to get an idea or know I have to do something and get to it right away. I tend to not think about it much and act on it. However when it comes to life changing decisions or actions I do procrastinate a lot but my average life routines get done as soon as they pop in my head.

  29. Wow I procrastinate everything! I love the feeling after a workout, but I will try and come up with excuses why i can't work out. Now lately I've adopted the "Just do it" because I don't wanna be "weak" mentally and physically. I struggle a lot because I am mentally weak and i literally have to have peptalk to myself why I have to do it. It works. I get in there and surprise myself. Im tired of procrastinating, and not being prepared, it shows inconsistency and lack of dedication. And I want the opposite of that. Lately Ive become more consistent and prepared and its starting to show physically and in my work mentally.
