  1. Happy Friday everyone, it's gonna be a busy day for me so I'm glad I did my meal prep for today and my traveling snacks. Not looking forward to this WOD since pull ups AND running don't like me, but I'll be there with a smile on, at least for the beginning.

  15. Its Friday!! Yay!! Week #2 is almost done and I can say its been going ok. I missed working out this week due to me having car issues but I'm sooooooo ready to get back in there..... Out of those exotic protein choices I have tried goat (yummy) and Venison (not a big fan) It would be interesting to try rabbit meat one day. Everyone have a wonderful weekend and stay dedicated to accomplish your goals.

  17. Ha! Exotic meat? Now where I'm from this was what we caught and ate from our backyard or the hunting grounds, threw it on back of the pickup, brought it home and cleaned it, and cooked it just right. Yep, I'm from backwoods Mississippi. But I'm bourgie (bourgeoisie) now, so I don't, yea, I still enjoy some of these "exotic" meats from time to time.

  19. I've tried several of these. I'd love to try rabbit though.

Had a great day of strict eating so far and pork chops with roasted veggies up for dinner. Looking forward to the WOD part of paleo potluck, can't stay for the dinner though. Boo!

  21. Not a big fan of exotic meats. I'd probably stick to the more domestic ones , like venison, if I had to choose. Sad I missed this workout, love when we have to run!

    Team Dedication!

  22. I love eating goat or Cabrito as we call it. I like venison and elk as well. I would like to try ostrich. I hear it's the meat with the most protein.

Today's WOD was not as bad as I thought. Got 5 rounds plus 18 RX.

  24. Jason I was glad to read your post because I forgot about the ostrich beef jerky. I've had it before and it is very good. I need to remember to pick some up so I have it around when those hunger spells hit and I need something to hold me over for an hour or so. Otherwise, venison is the only other exotic meat I've had.
Missed the WOD today. Go Team Strong!

  32. Wow! I did not know bison was exotic! We eat that in favor of beef all the time!! The meat is tender- not so chewy like beef is. It's wonderful! I grew up with a hunter dad in SC and "had" to eat squirrel, rabbit which we raised to eat and deer which our freezer was full of. Of those I only liked rabbit which tastes like chicken! I have not had goat- but I have enjoyed goat cheese!
