    1. Blog posts are usually scheduled days in advance, so I bet that was a coincidence. Pretty funny though!

  7. I have to admit, yesterday I backslid. I had awesome intentions of letting everyone else eat the delicious cupcakes (made from scratch) that I baked for our party, but I partook. I'm KICKING myself now, and my stomach is NOT happy with me. Simple, bland breakfast for me of scrambled eggs and spinach with some calming green tea. I KNOW I can do this, and one mistake does not define me. Stay focused everyone. This is where the rubber meets the road! I'll keep y'all posted.

Remember this week K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple, stupid!) Except I don't think y'all are stupid! :)

    Today is a new day!

  8. I was actually supposed to try a new recipe this week for paleo banana muffins. But when I read the ingredients, I changed my mind. If I'm going to cheat, I'm going to cheat BIG and not with "paleo junk food." (:

Keeping it simple and pure paleo!

  14. Hey! I love this post! I'm probably the ultimate simpleton in my household when it comes to food prep. I bake the mess out of chicken, asparagus, and sweet potatoes weekly. I'll definitely try the guacamole recipe as well as the chili.

    Today's breakfast:
The simpleton's omelette - contains two eggs and spinach sauteed on with olive oil and bacon bits sprinkled on top :)

Go Team Determined!!! We got this!

  16. Good afternoon everyone! I like the recipes that are in the "10 Simple Ideas". I don't like all the fru-fru Paleo recipes; I like to keep it simple with just the regular foods I like to eat. One thing I am going to work on this week is adding more vegetables into my meals. It's easy for me to get protein and carbs, but the veggies are lacking. May we all stay strong and be successful in our journey this week. Go Team Strong!

  17. Went to the box today to watch Amy and Yansi do a little lifting. They did a few snatches, then moved into a very good squat workout. Amy did a single with 145 and then did 20 reps with 100. Two weeks ago the best she could do was 85 for 11 reps. Enormous improvement! Yansi set a new PR with a single of 225, then did 20 reps at 135! Both girls did a fantastic job!
