Rabbit anyone?

Wk 6, Day 37
This week's Theme:  Recovery!
"So here’s the deal: if you’ve actually had a pre-workout meal, or any other recent meal, there’s no crucial, do-or-die need to eat after your workout – especially if you’re still “burping up” that meal you ate before your exercise session."

Who is the first person to post the name of the expert that eats "raw grass-fed beef"

  10. I agree w/Alma - the sweet potatoes with eggs sounded good. Never thought about mixing in applesauce, but i'm guessing that would be better than the Thanksgiving favorite of marshmallows w/sweet potatoes. Go Team Strong! PS. I'm hungry again.

  12. It's usually spinach & eggs and a banana for me after a morning WOD. I'll throw in a shake after wods regardless what time of the day. I probably could eat any of those meals after today's WOD. Jackie beat me up!

  16. I would like to try the epic bars, scotch eggs, sweet potatoes pureed with applesauce, I didn't know what epic bard were until I googled them along with the scotch eggs. I have to say I love eggs with toast but I havent eaten bread in forever!!! And although I've been keeping a log of what I am eating I'm not writing down how what i eat makes me feel. I feel really tired and sleepy after lunch, All I had was left over pot roast beef with steamed broccoli and I'm feeling like I'm about to fall asleep...I will start trying to keep up with that because i did notice that in the article is that all these people knew which foods made them feel good and were easy to digest. And I think this could help me become a better athlete and work out harder and Ill feel better going into my workout.

  24. I've actually tried puréed sweet potatos and apples. That was one of my son's favorite first meals, and it was quite tasty. I never imagined it would benefit me post workout! I might have to take out the ol' baby food processor and freeze a few batches of that stuff!

I would like to try sweet potato hash though!

    Go team dedication!

  25. Interesting fact, Mark Sisson also talks about eating raw grass fed beef on his website. I like his rules about it...sourcing and using alcohol for dips to kill germies...check it out n marksdailyapple.com/raw meat. I personally am not ready for raw meat just yet. I would like to try the sweet potato and egg combo....Team STRONG!
