I feel great recovery when I stretch and I do squat every time I have the opportunity mainly in the elevator at work from floor to floor of course when I'm by my self in the elevator, security most think I'm crazy when they see me squatting. But it feels good

    1. Sleep was the most common and it's a favorite of mine (when I can get it). I also love getting adjusted, swimming and sitting in the jacuzzi. Need to start getting some massages too. Massages are extremely beneficial too, I just never get them. Need to start!

  25. Most common was sleep! And for me, sleep and rest is definitely the best thing for recovery. I also think cool down, stretching, and hydration help me. After long runs, I definitely make sure to do ice baths. Not fun, but make a huge difference. Cryotherapy works wonders too!

  27. The most common theme is sleep. I have found that cooling down works best for me but I don't do it as much as I should. Also stretching especially due to me knee surgery it gets extremely tight after a workout like yesterdays.

  28. Most common theme is sleep, what helps me recover is eating good carbs after a workout along with stretching , foam rolling and laying on the floor. When I'm sore I try to sleep 8 hrs or more.

  29. Most common theme is sleep. For me, taking time for a good stretch after a WOD works for me. Rest is second for me. I've gotten up every morning this week for the 5 am class and then went back to sleep. I even had the car warming up Tuesday morning and then I turned it off and went back to bed. Go team stron!

  30. I would say a combination of food and sleep. I should honestly should get more sleep in, which for me means that I get to bed on time. I like that someone stated in the article "post workout carbs" and fats through out the day. I am always on the move and having a signal for when to eat what helps with recovery by the end of the week.
