Greatest accomplishment since starting CF? Gaining 10 lbs. and a nice little booty, if I do say so myself.
Favorite cheat meal: Hmmm...this is tough to answer because I'm not paleo. I make good decisions most of the time, but I don't deny myself anything. If I want beer & hot wings, I do it.
What do you do outside of CF? I've been a nurse for 18 yrs. I work in an operating room currently. I also have been heavily involved in Taekwondo for about 11 yrs. I'm a 3rd degree blackbelt and instructor. I've competed and placed nationally. Hi-ya!
Family: I met my ginger when I was 18. We've been married for 20+ yrs & have a daughter that truly warms my heart.
What motivates you to come to class each week: I struggled with mobility as a child. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis before I was 2 yrs old. I wore braces on my wrists & took a ton of medication. I've even had gold injections. Despite all that, it still hurt to move. I forced myself to be active. Now, I'm scared that if I stop moving I'll not be capable of moving. I refuse to let that happen.
Favorite skill: Toes to bar & clean and jerk
What did you want to be when you grew up? Veterinarian
