We are coming up on the last week of the Nutrition Challenge! How are you doing? Are you measurements going down each week? Exercise extreme discipline this week so that you will be pleased with your results! Do not think of this as a diet, this is a lifestyle change. Weight loss diets allow you to lose weight, then after the diet you usually resume your previous habits and gain the weight back. For 2 points today, what habits will you keep? Or what lifestyle changes will you try to maintain?

We will be closed tomorrow in observance of Memorial Day. Please join us at 9am for "Murph".

We went out for a date night and I had a little splurge with 2 alcoholic beverages and a 1/2 a piece of chocolate cake, but I am back on the straight and narrow today. After finishing this challenge I plan to cut dairy out of my diet almost completely and significantly reduce my carb and sugar intake. (except while I am on vacation this summer)

    1. After the challenge, I'm going to reduce my carb intake but this time not consider my veggies in that carb balance. This way I may not be in ketosis, but I'll be fueling my body better to have more productive workouts.

challenge for us this past week and next week: no kitchen! finally remodeling from the kitchen fire a few months back! eat paleo with only a microwave and a fridge!
I have significantly increased my veggie intake this challenge. I would like to continue that since it seems to have resulted in an increase in energy! I can't think of any other reason, I have no caffeine intake.

Track WOD was fun this am. Lots of walking and a few lunges thrown in here and there. Didn't really keep count, but probably not a lot.

This challenge has shown me that I don't really miss the dairy products. My intake of fresh vegetables and fruits and really paid off. Going to absolutely keep this nutrition plan a part of my days going forward.

We went on a date to the Jimmy Buffett concert, hence the alcohol. I'm back on track today.
I've felt so much better physically since cutting out rice and breads while on the challenge. I've discovered new ways to cook my veggies and enjoy the new variety. Overall, I want to maintain this new way of eating while not feeling guilty to splurge on occasion. 😏

    D sausage & veggies

I think the thing I have learned most is I don't have to have sugar! Although I love it , it has been easy to give up. I will probably have a peanut butter cookie on the 5th!!! Lol but I do believe I will continue the lifestyle bc I feel great, stronger and not bloated . That makes it worth it all!!!!

A habit and life style change that I really want to keep is making sure that I eat all throughout the day. I tend to skip breakfast and lunch and then binge eat at dinner, usually something not healthy. So the challenges help me get back on track with that habit!

  25. Things are going well.
It has been a little more challenging this time because the focus of my diet has always been to eat what I need to, to sustain my daily activity. For the last week, my daily exercise has decreased significantly and I had to change my diet accordingly. But good thing is, I like a challenge.

    Today I had
    eggs/chicken
    broccoli
    nuts
