Rest Day

Have you ever heard the saying that you are the average of the 5 people you hang out with the most? Want to make some changes in your life? Assess your environment. Are the people you hang out with most supportive of your goals?

"If your friends drink a lot, you will drink a lot. If your friends eat McDonalds a lot, you will eat McDonalds a lot. If your friends stay up late, you will stay up late. If your friends eat healthy, you will eat healthy. If your friends train hard, then you will train hard! " Read more here.

The article linked above suggests to assess yourself and find your weaknesses. Then find people who are good at your weaknesses. Want to get stronger? Train with strong people. Want better technique? Train with people with great technique. Want to eat better? Hang out with people who are disciplined with nutrition. Want to be more positive? Hang out with positive people!

Step 1: find your weaknesses
Step 2: list the traits that you want to develop (or weaknesses that you want to turn into strengths)
Step 3: seek people who possess these strengths and hang out with them
Step 4: try to adopt their work ethic, habits, or attitude!

These steps can help you reach your full potential!

  1. I'm grateful for my son waking me at 8:30 this morning to tell me about his long and detailed dream about playing with his cousin. I'm also grateful for the wisdom on the Internet and Amy ability to always find it and help us be better!

  5. Another 2 hour hike in Colorado. Second straight day of similar activity. 4 showers in just over 24hrs. It's dirty business but I think I'll survive.
