Stay Hydrated

Body water in humans varies with age and sex. Your body is approximately 60% water. Strength coach Charles Poliquin says, “Hydration is the greatest determinant of strength. A drop of 1.5% in water levels translates in a drop of 10% of your maximal strength.” That's quite significant!

How much water should you drink?
The Institute of Medicine recommends about 3 liters for men (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The recommendation for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.
